Dr. Amanda Babiak - Veterinarian

Dr. Babiak was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and has been passionate about veterinary medicine since childhood.

She attended Michigan State University before taking her veterinary journey abroad to the United Kingdom, where she attended the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). During her time at the RVC, she gained valuable experience working with patients and teams from a wide variety of backgrounds. She developed an even deeper appreciation for the many aspects of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Babiak has absolutely fallen in love with the profession and especially enjoys caring for pets throughout every stage of their lives. Her approach to veterinary medicine centers on ensuring each pet receives the care they need while recognizing that successful care is a shared goal between the veterinary team and the pet's family. She believes in working collaboratively with owners to find thoughtful, individualized plans that support both the pet's health and the family's goals.

Her professional interests include general practice, urgent care and emergency medicine, and advanced soft tissue surgery. She particularly enjoys the variety that veterinary medicine offers and the opportunity to build relationships with both patients and their families over time.

Dr. Babiak is excited to join the team as an Associate Veterinarian! She has spent time with the practice through externships over the past few years, so that some familiar faces may have already seen her around. She looks forward to getting to know the team and becoming part of the practice.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Babiak enjoys reading, traveling, and catching up with friends who are scattered around the world. She loves the opportunity to explore new places, experience different cultures, and stay connected with the people who have become part of her life along the way
